Is Invisalign more expensive then Braces?
Not at our office! Although our braces and Invisalign fee may not always be the same, generally the fee is very close to one another. Come in for a consultation and Dr. Webb will discuss which option would be best for you.

Although Invisalign may make your teeth mildly sore (similar to braces), there will be very little discomfort involved. The Invisalign trays are very comfortable, and can be taken out to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

Who is eligible for Invisalign Teen?
Invisalign teen is suited for patients aged 12-18 years old. Invisalign teen includes replacement Invisalign trays (in case of losing a tray) and treatment indicator to confirm that the patient is wearing the tray as indicated.

How Do I Clean Invisalign Aligners?
Always rinse your aligners off as soon as they're removed from your mouth. It's highly recommended that you soak your Invisalign aligners in the Invisalign brand crystal cleaning solution each day. This soak will remove much of the bacteria from the aligners, and you can use a soft bristle toothbrush (not your own regular toothbrush) to lightly sweep away any debris that lingers after the soak. After soaking, rinse the aligners off again and place back in your mouth.

How Long Do I Wear Each Set of Aligners?
This can vary based on your specific treatment plan. In most cases, aligners are worn for two weeks and then exchanged for the next set. In some situations, aligners may be worn for as little as a week before they're switched out for another set. It all depends on your custom treatment plan.

Is Invisalign Fitting for an Active Lifestyle?
Invisalign is a great choice for an active lifestyle! You can wear Invisalign aligners during nearly any activity, removing them only for eating and cleaning. If you play sports, you can typically wear the Invisalign aligners comfortably while playing. If you're playing contact sports, Dr. Webb may recommend a mouthguard — you can remove the Invisalign to wear a custom mouthguard if needed. If you have a special event coming up soon, you can even take the aligners out for the night. Invisalign is flexible and is ideally suited for an active lifestyle.

How often will I need to come in for appointments?
You'll only have to visit Webb Family Orthodontics every four to six weeks for a quick check-up. These visits are generally quite fast and easy — after all, there are no metal wires and brackets to worry about!
